Mahogany Run is a gated condominium community on the north side of St. Thomas. The association says it was first developed as a hotel resort and is now residential, with 241 condos grouped in Tennis Village, Golf Village and a section along the north shore. Most buildings hold three stacked units, and the original floor plans run from one bedroom, one bath to three bedrooms, three baths. The main section and Tennis Village each have an automated entry gate, and security staff work from a guard house and on patrol. The association says most rentals are long term, short-term rentals need a five-night minimum stay, and occupancy is limited to two people per bedroom. Dogs are not allowed apart from registered assistance animals, and residents may keep one cat or one small caged pet. Buyers should read the declaration, bylaws and rules posted online and confirm the common charges.
