Cinnamon Bay Beach and Campground

Cinnamon Bay Beach and Campground is the campground inside Virgin Islands National Park at Cinnamon Bay on St. John, and its beach watersports center rents kayaks, clear kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear and beach chairs. Kayaks and paddleboards rent by the hour or the day, and snorkel gear by the day or the week. Rentals are open from 9:00 to 4:00 every day, and the center also gives stand-up paddleboard lessons. The site has the Rain Tree Cafe, an open-air dining hall, and a food truck near the beach. From November to May, Friends of Virgin Islands National Park holds free evening talks at the cafe on weekdays. The campground's website takes reservations for stays, and rental questions go to its phone number or email. Ask about rental deposits and current prices, which the site says are subject to change.
