Coral World Ocean Park is a marine park at Coki Point on St. Thomas that runs guided in-water programs alongside its exhibits. Its SNUBA program lets people without a scuba certification breathe from air tanks carried on a surface raft and follow a guide along the reef to about 20 feet deep, with several sessions a day for ages 8 and up who know how to swim. Its Sea Trek program is a 45-minute guided underwater experience for ages 8 and up who weigh at least 80 pounds, with health restrictions listed on the website. The park also offers dolphin, sea lion and shark encounters, and every experience includes general admission. The park is open from 9 am to 4 pm, every day in most months but only Tuesday to Saturday in May, June, August and September, so check the season before you go. Book online or by phone.
