Vacation Vistas

Vacation Vistas, Ltd. is a vacation rental and villa management company on St. John that says it has rented homes on the island for more than 24 years, keeping to a limited number of homes in the mid to upper price ranges. Its website describes on-island management of the villas it represents, with attention to cleanliness, maintenance and guest services. Guests are greeted on arrival, shown to the villa and given an orientation, and the office can help arrange rental cars, taxi transfers to the ferries, day charters, provisioning and child care. The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs lists a current business license for the company with owners representative coordinator as its activity. Owners interested in management should ask whether it is taking on new homes, what the fee covers, how maintenance and storm preparation are handled, and who collects and files the hotel room tax.
