Rooftops

Rooftops is a roofing contractor and roofing supply store with its main office in Estate Friedensthal, Christiansted, St. Croix, and a second location on St. Thomas. The company says it was founded in 1970. Its website lists installation and repair of metal, tile, flat, wood shake and fluid-applied membrane roofs, silicone coatings for waterproofing and restoration, and project management that covers permits, budgets and schedules. The St. Croix store sells roofing materials, fasteners, coatings and accessories, which can help an owner who is keeping up an older roof. A Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs license lists roofing service, retail, importing and metal manufacturing at the Friedensthal location. When asking for a quote, ask which roof system suits the house, how it is fastened for hurricane winds, how the gutters and cistern are protected during the work, and what the warranty covers.
