St. Croix Montessori School

St. Croix Montessori School is a nonprofit Montessori school in Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted, opened by parents in 2006 and run by a board of trustees. It has a toddler classroom for children from about 18 months to 3 years, a primary program for ages 3 to 6, an elementary program from age 6, and an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, which the school says was authorized in 2025. In 2025-26 it offered Grades 6 to 8 in that program and planned to add one grade a year. To enroll, families can book a tour through the inquiry form, then submit an application and a recommendation from the child's current teacher or daycare provider, followed by an interview. Admission depends on age, space, readiness and the family's commitment to Montessori education, with preference for siblings. The registration packet and fee are due before the first day.
