The Cruzan Rum Distillery on St. Croix offers tours of its working distillery, at an Estate Diamond address with a Frederiksted mailing address. The general admission tour is a walk through the distillery that lasts about an hour and ends in the Visitor Center with two mixed drinks and four product samples. A VIP tour offers a more in-depth visit and has to be booked ahead by phone. The Visitor Center also offers a drink experience without a tour, for guests 18 and older. Tours are scheduled through the Experiences page on the Cruzan website, and walk-ins are welcome when space allows. The distillery is closed on Wednesday and Sunday, and it posts special hours and closures on its Google page, so check before you drive out. Children may come along, but the company notes that the industrial setting can be hard to navigate with a child.
