Red Hook, St. Thomas

Red Hook Dive Center is a dive shop at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook, on the east end of St. Thomas. It runs two-tank dive trips for certified divers every day on its 42-foot powerboat, Fool's Gold, and offers guided snorkeling, seats for snorkelers who ride along on dive trips and a private half-day snorkel tour. Courses run from Discover SCUBA for people who are not certified through PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, plus a ReActivate refresher. The shop rents snorkel gear, scuba gear and tanks by the day or the week, fills tanks, repairs gear and sells equipment, and it can deliver rentals to Compass Point Marina for charter guests. Trips are booked online or at the shop. Newcomers to the East End can ask about refresher dives and weekly rental terms.
