The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts (CMCArts) is a nonprofit art museum and arts center on the waterfront at 10 Strand Street in Frederiksted, with a second location in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas. Its seaside, open-air galleries show rotating exhibitions by artists from the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the wider Caribbean, changing every two to three months, along with a permanent collection. It also runs classes and workshops in drawing, watercolor, batik, clay and more, youth programs, concerts, film screenings and artist receptions, and it has a museum store selling Caribbean art and handmade gifts. As of October 2026 the St. Croix museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and GoToStCroix lists admission as free. The building can also be rented for events.
