Beaches

Island life, public services listed for reference

These are the public beaches on each island, with what to know before you go: fees, facilities, parking, snorkeling and any seasonal closures. Some lie inside Virgin Islands National Park or a wildlife refuge, which set their own rules on hours, pets and what you can take home. Most beaches have no lifeguard, so check the sea before you swim and keep off fragile coral. Conditions and facilities change after storms, so each listing shows when we last verified it.
