Coki Point Beach, often called Coki Beach, is a public beach on a peninsula on St. Thomas's northeast side, beside Coral World Ocean Park. Entry is free. The water is usually calm and shallow, and coral heads with sergeant majors, parrotfish and other reef fish sit a few kicks from shore, which suits beginners. Local vendors rent chairs, umbrellas, towels and snorkel gear, and food and drink stands by the sand generally open from mid to late morning until about 5 p.m. The Department of Tourism lists restrooms and showers, and because parking is scarce and usually costs a small fee, it suggests a taxi. The Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation counts the beach among its facilities. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources found bacteria above its limit here in four weekly tests from September to early October 2026; check its latest advisory before you swim.
