Grapetree Beach

Grapetree Beach runs along Grapetree Bay on the south shore of St. Croix's East End, between Point Udall and Divi Carina Bay, in a residential neighborhood. A barrier reef shelters the water, which makes it good for swimming, and sea turtles are often seen over the grassy bottom, though reef fish are few. From Divi Carina Bay, drive east on Route 60, turn right onto South Grapetree Bay Road at the Grapetree Bay Hotel and Villas sign, turn right where the road ends and use the public parking west of the hotel. There are no facilities, so bring water, food and a chair, and respect nearby homes. All fishing and personal watercraft are banned in this no-take zone of the St. Croix East End Marine Park. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources found bacteria above its limit here in September and October 2026; check its latest advisory before swimming.
Services
