Honeymoon Beach

Honeymoon Beach is a white-sand beach west of Caneel Bay in Virgin Islands National Park, shaded by palms and sea grape trees. There is no parking at the beach: hike the Lind Point Trail, about 1.5 miles of narrow, rocky path from the park visitor center in Cruz Bay, or come by boat. A 2024 park map marks shuttle parking and a shuttle stop for Honeymoon at the Caneel Bay entrance, with no pedestrian access from there. Concessions sell food and drinks and rent chairs, kayaks and snorkel gear, and the Department of Tourism lists bathrooms and showers. Snorkelers follow a narrow reef toward Caneel Bay or the corals off the point toward Salomon Beach. Pets and glass are not allowed, and no lifeguard is listed. Cleanup of an old landfill beside the beach is on hold; the park has said normal beach use poses no imminent health risk.
