Honeymoon Beach is a white-sand beach on Water Island, a short walk or golf cart ride from Philips Landing, the public dock. The Water Island Ferry crosses from Crown Bay Marina on St. Thomas in about 10 minutes, hourly from 8 a.m. Monday to Saturday (plus a 7 a.m. weekday trip) and from 9 a.m. on Sundays and holidays. Boats back leave at a quarter past each hour, the last at 6:15 p.m. Fares, last updated in February 2025, are $10 each way for visitors and $6 for residents with a Virgin Islands ID. The island has no buses or taxis, and golf carts can sell out, so reserve one ahead. Dinghy's Beach Bar & Grill, on the sand, serves food and drinks and rents chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tests the water here weekly; check its latest advisory before swimming.
