Cramer's Park is a public beach park on the north shore of St. Croix's East End, near Point Udall, run by the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation (DSPR). It has covered pavilions with picnic tables, grills, restrooms and paved parking, with ramps to the pavilions and restrooms. Sea grape trees give plenty of shade, and the shallow, usually calm water suits young children and offers good snorkeling. Weekdays are quiet; weekends are busy with family gatherings and loud music. Camping is allowed, and the park is a traditional Easter camping spot, so ask DSPR about current rules before you set up. The water is in the Recreational Zone of the St. Croix East End Marine Park, where the only fishing allowed is hook-and-line from the beach out to 100 feet. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tests the water here weekly; check its latest advisory before swimming.
