Estate Whim Museum is a former sugar plantation on Centerline Road on St. Croix's West End, run by the St. Croix Landmarks Society, which has managed its 12 acres since 1954. The grounds hold the Great House, a cookhouse, a watchhouse and mills driven by animals, wind and steam, plus exhibit halls, the 'My Granny House' exhibit and demonstrations of Crucian music, crafts and food by tradition bearers. The Great House, damaged by Hurricane Maria in 2017, was still awaiting restoration in January 2026 and is closed to tours, but visitors can walk the grounds and sugar factory ruins. The Society lists hours of Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and cruise ship days; GoToStCroix lists only Wednesday and Saturday, so call ahead. In 2024 the Society charged $10 for ages 13 and up, $8 for seniors and $5 for children 6 to 12. There is on-site parking.

The Society runs the museum, so its hours are given first and GoToStCroix's shorter schedule is attributed.
