The Mt. Pellier Domino Club, also called Norma's, is an open-air bar in the rainforest of St. Croix's West End, just off Route 76. Locals have played dominoes there since the 1950s, and it is known for its beer-drinking pigs. You pay a small fee and buy a can of nonalcoholic beer at the bar, and a staff member takes you up to the pens and explains the rules first. The Department of Tourism advises letting the pigs come to you, holding the can low and keeping your fingers clear. The bar pours its house MamaWanna, a rum infusion with honey, spices, roots and herbs, and serves roti, johnny cakes, roast pork and burgers; items can sell out. The road in is bumpy and winding, and the Department of Tourism recommends a Jeep. No source lists hours, prices or a phone number.
