La Grange Beach

La Grange Beach is a sandy stretch on St. Croix's West End, on Route 63 just north of Frederiksted, between the Frederiksted Pier and Rainbow Beach. Free parking is plentiful nearby. Coconuts on the Beach, the bar long associated with it, has closed, so do not count on food, drinks or restrooms here; bring water and sun protection. There is some shade, and Frederiksted's restaurants, dive shops and stores are close by. The water is generally calm, which suits swimming. The beach gets busier on cruise ship days. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) does not include La Grange in its weekly water testing.
