Turner Hole is the beach in front of Carina Bay All-Inclusive Resort and Casino (listed by GoToStCroix as Divi Carina Bay), on the south side of St. Croix's East End. From South Shore Road (Route 60), follow the signs to the resort, where parking is free. The resort's FAQ says all St. Croix beaches are open to the public. The resort is adults-only and all-inclusive, its beach chairs and umbrellas are for guests, and GoToStCroix says the restrooms are for guests and restaurant customers, so bring water and shade. No lifeguard is on duty, and glass is not allowed on the beach. Seaweed piles up at times and is not cleared during turtle nesting season. The water is in the Recreation Zone of the St. Croix East End Marine Park, where spearfishing and taking conch are banned. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources does not test the water here.
