Limetree Beach is on the south coast of St. Thomas, in front of Limetree Beach Resort by Club Wyndham at 7511 Frenchman's Bay. The resort was called Bluebeard's Beach Club until it reopened in December 2020 after three years closed. U.S. Geological Survey records place the beach in French Bay, the small cove just west of Frenchman Bay. The resort calls the beach private, but under Virgin Islands law the shore is public up to the high-water mark. No source confirms a public route over resort property or parking, so ask at the gate or arrive by water. Aqua Marine Dive Center, based at the resort, runs guided snorkels off the beach ($30 with gear, as of October 2026); its dive boats leave from Saga Haven Marina. The Department of Planning and Natural Resources tests Frenchman's Bay next door, which exceeded its bacteria limit for October 26 to 30, 2026.
