Virgin Islands Retreats

Virgin Islands Retreats is a vacation rental management company based on St. Thomas, with a published address at Red Hook Plaza, and its list-your-home page describes managing homes on St. Thomas and St. John. The founders say they have more than 20 years of property management experience. For owners, it lists marketing on VRBO, Airbnb, Expedia, Google and Booking.com with architectural and drone photography, handling of inquiries and reservations with guest ID checks, guest communication at any hour, cleaning and restocking after each stay, an inspection after each guest, and coordination of repairs. Its commission is a percentage of collected gross rent, approved repair costs come out of that month's rent on the owner statement, and owner use beyond six weeks a year may raise the commission by 5%. The company says it collects and pays taxes for owners, so ask how the hotel room tax is filed.
