The St. Croix Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) is a public career school run by the St. Croix District of the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE). Opened in 1995, it shares the St. Croix Educational Complex building with the Educational Complex High School, near the University of the Virgin Islands. Most of its high school students come from St. Croix Central and the Educational Complex, with some from private and parochial schools, and they choose from 18 occupational and 9 elective courses. Adults can take evening courses in 13 occupational specialties. VIDE listed CTEC among its schools in October 2026; its 2025-26 schedule, the latest posted, ran day classes from 7:30 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. The website does not describe enrollment, so high school families should ask their school or call CTEC, and adults can call the center.
