Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School

Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School is a public middle school for grades 6-8 in Estate Bovoni, on the south side of St. Thomas, run by the St. Thomas-St. John District of the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE). It opened in 1977, at first sharing a double session with Ivanna Eudora Kean High School. Each student is placed on a team of four core teachers for English, math, science and social studies, and takes special subjects such as art, health, physical education and vocational classes outside the team; clubs cover academics and sports. For 2026-27, new students and all sixth graders had to attend orientation with a parent or guardian. New students register through the district: complete VIDE's online pre-registration form, then bring the child, a recent report card and the other original documents to the registration office, weekdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Student Services assigns the school.
