Caribbean Solar Company is a family-owned solar installer that says it has operated on St. John since 2012 and works for homes and businesses across the Virgin Islands. Its website lists custom solar system design and installation, battery energy storage, monitoring and maintenance, and restoration and repair of existing systems, including roof rebuilds and rewiring where a system needs them. It takes residential, commercial and industrial jobs and offers free estimates. Its license with the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs lists equipment installation, roofing, importing and solar electric power generation at a location in Estate Carolina. An owner on St. John should ask how long replacement parts take to arrive, who services the system after installation, how the panels and racking are secured for hurricane winds, and what the warranties cover, since the website does not give warranty terms.

The website publishes no street address or hours. The license street address is left out because it may be a residence. Roofers is a second category because the license lists Roofing Service and the website mentions roof rebuilds, but only as part of solar restoration work; a reviewer may prefer to drop it.
