Solar and generator installers

Home and property

Many owners in the islands add solar panels, batteries or a standby generator to keep power on during outages. Ask an installer how the system is sized, how panels are anchored for hurricane winds, how batteries and generators are housed and ventilated, what the warranty covers, and what permits the work needs. If the system will connect to the grid, ask what the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) requires. Get written quotes from more than one installer. Each listing shows when we last verified it.
