VI Solar Technologies

VI Solar Technologies is a solar and battery installer based on St. John that serves St. John and St. Thomas. Its website describes four kinds of work: solar panels with battery storage sized to the property, upgrades that expand or simplify an existing system, solar planned into new construction together with the owner's architect and builder, and monitoring after installation. The company says it has installed more than three megawatts of solar in the territory, and it lists NABCEP PV installation certification, the SEI solar professionals program and SEIA membership. Its Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs license covers importing, equipment installation and sales on St. John. For a buyer planning a renovation or a new house, it helps to bring the installer in early so the roof layout, battery location and wiring are planned together. Ask about warranties, monitoring and how the system is prepared for storms.
