Sea Thru Kayaks VI runs kayak tours and rentals from Salt River Marina on St. Croix's north shore, on Salt River Bay, part of a national park and preserve. Its two-hour night tour paddles three-quarters of a mile to the bioluminescent bay, where guests explore on their own for 45 minutes in clear or sit-on-top kayaks; the clear ones carry up to 385 pounds for two and are not ideal for beginners.
