Just Fish St. John runs private sportfishing charters for up to six people on Just Fish, a 42-foot Liberty custom express with a fighting chair and a toilet. Anglers board at the finger pier by the national park Visitor Center in Cruz Bay, across from Morgan's Mango; pickup in Red Hook, St. Thomas, costs extra. Trips last four, six or eight hours, and 10-hour marlin trips run June through October. Inshore trips troll the cays and fish reefs with live bait for bonito, barracuda, snapper, kingfish and sharks; offshore trips troll for mahi, wahoo, tuna and billfish, which are released. Bait, tackle, fuel, ice and water are included, and guests may keep up to 25 pounds of fish. The company suggests inshore trips for children 5 and older; parents must bring life jackets for those under 12. Bring lunch; no glass or hard liquor. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice.
