Parasail Virgin Islands flies parasailers from Sapphire Beach Marina, on the East End of St. Thomas, over Pillsbury Sound toward St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Riders take off from and land on the boat. Up to three people fly together if their combined weight is between 160 and about 550 pounds, depending on the wind. Riders must be at least 4, and a parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18. An outing lasts 75 to 90 minutes, with up to 15 people taking turns; observers can ride along for a fee if there is room. St. John guests can arrange pickup at the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay. In late October 2026, the Havensight departure near the cruise ship dock was closed, and St. Croix flights from the Christiansted boardwalk were bookable only from December. Deposits are non-refundable unless weather cancels the flight.

The website gives flight heights of 400 feet and of about 500 feet, and says the Havensight departure will reopen on Thanksgiving Day, on December 20 and 'soon', so no height or reopening date is stated. The St. Croix pickup point is Caribbean Sea Adventures on the east side of the Christiansted boardwalk. Prices are published on the rates page.
