The Virgin Islands Children's Museum is a nonprofit, hands-on museum for children and families in Buccaneer Mall in Havensight. Its exhibits teach science, technology, reading, engineering, the arts and math with an emphasis on Caribbean culture, and include a Mango Farm to Market play area, a music room, a toddler coral reef and a deep-sea light room. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Mondays, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. In late October 2026 its website announced a reopening on October 27, so call ahead. The museum says it is fully accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, with a family restroom and changing table inside, and visitors can park anywhere in the mall lot. It offers reduced admission for SNAP EBT card holders and a 10 percent discount for active-duty military and veterans.
