Shupe's on the Boardwalk

Shupe's on the Boardwalk is a casual burger restaurant on the waterfront boardwalk in downtown Christiansted, St. Croix, a few steps from its sister restaurant, Brew STX, with tables looking over the harbor. Guests build their own burgers from beef ground in house and never frozen, and the menu also has hand-cut fries, house-made veggie burgers, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches, with cold beer and cocktails. The restaurant says it keeps prices affordable. The kitchen is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and to 9 p.m. on Sunday, and happy hour runs from 4 to 6 p.m. on weekdays. An open-air room upstairs, overlooking the water, can be booked for private events, and catering orders need three days' notice. The tourism department notes that local bands and DJs often play there.
