De' Coal Pot is a Caribbean restaurant in Cruz Bay, St. John. It moved there from the East End of St. Thomas, where it served local dishes for years in a small shopping plaza. Its Facebook page, now named for Cruz Bay, describes authentic Caribbean food and places the restaurant next door to The Upstairs Bar and across from The Longboard. It offers dine-in and pickup, asks diners to call for dinner, and posted video from the Cruz Bay restaurant in July 2026. The tourism department's guide still describes the St. Thomas location, so its menu notes may not match the new kitchen. Regular hours are not posted, so call before you go.
