High Tide Bar & Seafood Grill

High Tide Bar & Seafood Grill is an open-air restaurant on the beach at Wharfside Landing in Cruz Bay, St. John, a few steps from the ferry dock. It serves breakfast from 8 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. every day, with happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. The menu mixes local dishes and seafood with familiar staples: omelets, pancakes and chicken-fried steak at breakfast; conch fritters, tacos, sandwiches and burgers at lunch; and dinner dishes such as tropical mahi-mahi, coconut pineapple curry chicken and chimichurri ribeye, with frozen drinks and island cocktails. There is a children's menu. Tables sit under a shade canopy by the sand, and big screens show games. High Tide does not take reservations. Its shop sells the restaurant's own clothing and souvenirs. In the 2025 slow season it closed from September 15 to 26.
