Dinghy's Beach Bar & Grill is a beach bar and restaurant on Honeymoon Beach on Water Island, reached by ferry from Crown Bay Marina on St. Thomas. A family opened it in 2013. It is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. The menu runs from conch fritters, ceviche and ahi tuna tartare to burgers, Cuban and pulled pork sandwiches, fresh catch tacos, jerk chicken and a tuna poke bowl, with frozen drinks and rum cocktails. Its Instagram profile lists live music on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. The bar rents beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, kayaks and snorkel gear, and it rents golf carts for touring the island. The tourism department says ferry tickets are bought from the captain in cash and that the beach is a walk from the Water Island dock.
