Pesce iTALiAN is an Italian restaurant at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook, on the East End of St. Thomas, cooking regional and modern dishes from across Italy around handmade pasta and local seafood. The menu runs from antipasti such as fresh burrata, tuna carpaccio and crispy calamari to pastas made in house, including bucatini cacio e pepe and truffle mushroom pappardelle, with a wine list and a children's menu; the tourism department calls the restaurant rustic and romantic. Dinner is served nightly from 5 to 10 p.m., with happy hour at the bar from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Mondays pasta entrees are $24. Book a table online or by phone. The restaurant hosts private dinners for parties from 8 up to 100 guests, using the whole room, and caters on site and off site.
