Sugarcane Grille is the restaurant at the Bunker Hill Hotel on Commandant Gade in downtown Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. It serves island-inspired dinners from Monday to Saturday, 5 to 9 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. Happy hour runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with two-for-one cocktails, wine and beer and $10 bar bites such as chicken fingers, fries, grilled cheese and calamari. The tourism department, which says the restaurant has been open since 2014, describes Caribbean cooking that features local ingredients and a hillside setting with views over Charlotte Amalie Harbor.
